Greedy Dog

Greedy Dog 

Once there lived a dog. He was very greedy. There were many times that he had to pay for his greed. Each time the dog promised himself, “I have learnt my lesson. Now I will never be greedy again.” But he soon forgot his promises and was as greedy as ever. 

                One afternoon, the dog was terribly hungry. He decided to go look for something to eat. Just outside his house, there was a bridge. “I will go and look for food on the other side of the bridge. The food there is definitely better,” he thought to himself. 

          He walked across the wooden bridge and started sniffing around for food. Suddenly, he spotted a bone lying at a distance. “Ah, I am in luck. This looks a delicious bone,” he said. 

          Without wasting any time, the hungry dog picked up the bone and was just about to eat it, when he thought, “Somebody might see here with this bone and then I will have to share it with them. So, I had better go home and eat it.” Holding the bone in his mouth, he ran towards his house. 

          While crossing the wooden bridge, the dog looked down into the river. There he saw his own reflection. The foolish dog mistook it for another dog. “There is another dog in the water with bone in its mouth,” he thought. Greedy, as he was, he thought, “How nice it would be to snatch that piece of bone as well. Then, I will have two bones.”

          So, the greedy dog looked at his reflection and growled. The reflection growled back, too. This made the dog angry. He looked down at his reflection and barked, “Woof! Woof!” As he opened his mouth, the bone in his mouth fell into the river. It was only when the water splashed that the greedy dog realized that what he had seen was nothing but his own reflections and not another dog. But it was too late. He hadlost the piece of bone because of his greed. Now he had to go hungry.

Once upon a time, Gepetto, an old woodsman, living in the great Italian pine forest, was lonely. He always dreamed about having a son.

Each day, he went cutting woods for the town’s people. One day, an idea illuminated his mind, the idea of crafting a puppet, which he will call it Pinocchio. He crafted that puppet and during the night, the puppet becomes alive!

One year of happiness and thriller passed, on a Sunday morning, Gepetto told Pinocchio:

‘’It’s my birthday soon, my little son! I hope you didn’t forget it!’’

‘’Euh, sure, I didn’t!’’

Pinocchio felt awkward. He didn’t thought about that. Gepetto’s birthday was coming in only three days, and he hadn’t even a present.

After a long night of reflecting, Pinocchio finally decided to offer a homemade chocolate cake to him as a present.

When the sun rose, Pinocchio was already ready to go outside find the ingredients. The main problem was he didn’t even known the in and the recipe.

So after school, he decided to go ask someone for the ingredients to bake a cake. During his walk, Pinocchio, the wooden puppet, met the town’s sorcerer.
‘’Hey, little boy, do you need some help for your chocolate cake?’’

‘’Hum…You can help me?’’, asked Pinocchio.

‘’Sure, I can. Follow me!’’

After walking few minutes so, Pinocchio saw a big, big, big candy house. They entered together and Pinocchio got caught by a big cage.

‘’Mouahahaha!!! I finally caught you! You’ll be mine, you’re gonna work for me!’’, said the evil sorcerer.

Pinocchio was so scared. When the guards came and took him out of the cage, he immediately ran away very fast and he succeeded to escape.

At the same time, the evil sorcerer, calling all his troops with him, ran after him and he took out his magic wand. The evil devil changed the little wooden puppet into a chocolate cake!

When he came back home, he told the entire story to his father and they went to find the god fairy.

After a long trip, they finally find the god fairy and they got the magical potion for Pinocchio.

5 cm drama Indonesia is released on December 12, 2012. The film is directed by Rizal Mantovani. The film stars are Herjunot Ali, Fedi Nuril, Denny Sumargo, Raline Shah, Pevita Pearce, and  Igor Saykoji..

Genta (Fedi Nuril), Arial (Denny Sumargo), Zafran (Herjunot Ali), Riani (Raline Shah) and Ian (Igor Saykoji) are five teens who have been making friends for ten years. They have a different character. Zafran's poetic, a little "crazy", as it is, idealistic, somewhat narcissistic, and has the talent to be famous. Riani which is a smart girl, chatty, and has ambitions of his ideals. Genta, a man who is not happy for himself, so has the soul of a leader and be able to make other people comfortable around him. Arial, a man termacho among other players, like exercise, most obey the rules, but the most awkward acquaintance with women. Ian, he has the body most fertile than his friends, fans and football indomie, most late graduation. There is also Dinda who is the younger brother of Arial, a beautiful student who actually loved Zafran. One day the five of them are "saturated" with their friendship and eventually all five decided to break up, do not communicate with each other for three months.

During the three months of separation longing, much has happened in the lives of five of them, something that changed them each to be better in life. After three months later the five of them were reunited and celebrated their meeting with a journey full of dreams and challenges. A journey of the heart by raising the red white saka Java on the highest peak on August 17. A journey full of struggle that makes them more love Indonesia. Adventure in this story, is not a challenging adventure of adrenaline, to see the greatness of the divine from the top of the mountain. But this adventure, way too careful. Heart to love a close friendship, and the heart that loves this country.

Any obstacles they may face, because they have a dream. Dreams are placed 5cm from the front of the forehead.
